Poutine, Octopus and Cocktails

This weekend we decided to get a little crazy in San Francisco before starting my juice cleanse and found Wayfare Tavern. After reading that a  Canadian poutine chain is coming to the US I haven't been able to get poutine off my mind! Luckily for me, they have it on their menu. We ordered the oxtail poutine and grilled octopus. Their oxtail poutine is amazing and I will be back for more. The grilled octopus was so-so, but then again it's going to be really hard for someones grilled octopus to wow me after having it from Hubert Keller's restaurant Fleur. Overall this place is awesome and I can't wait to go back and try more.

Drunk food for the win

We all have a favorite place to eat when we are drunk. It doesn't matter if it's after the bars or after day drinking; you can't stop thinking about stuffing your face with their food. In my case, Nicks Crispy Tacos is my go to "I'm so hammered I need food" spot in San Francisco. Unfortunately, I honestly can't tell you if this place is good sober (I'm sure it is), but I can tell you that ordering any taco "nicks way" or burrito will make you one happy drunk person.

WARNING: Do NOT let your fiance stumble to the bar alone. He will come back with 3 shots of tequila and corona and then eat your entire burrito.
